OXSRAD'S GYM RULES

To keep our gym safe, inclusive, and enjoyable for everyone, we kindly ask that you follow these rules:

 

Age Restrictions & Supervision

  • You must be at least 14 years old to use our gym.

  • 14-15 year olds must have a responsible adult with them at all times while in the gym. They are not permitted to use the weights room or weights rack.

  • A full induction with an OXSRAD staff member is required for 14-15 year olds. Inductions can be booked via our website.

  • 16-18 year olds may attend OXSRAD without an adult present but must provide an emergency contact on their membership profile. They are required to complete our online induction before using the gym.

Clothing & Safety

  • Wear safe and practical gym attire. Denim, boots, flip-flops/sandals, and workwear are not permitted as they pose safety risks.

  • Do not block or tamper with fire exits, emergency doors, or fire extinguishers—except in a genuine emergency.

  • Bags are not allowed on the gym floor. Please use the lockers provided during your workout, and only for the duration of your session.​

  • If you’re unsure how to use a machine, please ask our friendly team for help. Using equipment incorrectly is unsafe and could cause injury to yourself or others.

Personal Belongings

  • OXSRAD cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged items. Please keep an eye on your belongings while visiting the gym.

  • If you have lost something, the best thing to do is visit our centre and ask a member of the team.

Inclusivity & Respect

OXSRAD is built on the values of inclusivity and respect. Any behavior that makes others feel unwelcome, mocked, or bullied will not be tolerated.

  • Abusive behavior towards fellow gym users or staff will result in a permanent ban from OXSRAD.
